Scholarship for 2008/2009
|
About The Frank Bell ScholarshipThis year the Bell Educational Trust is offering two exceptional students, between 12 and 17 years old, a full fee scholarship to the Bell Bedgebury International School for the academic year 2008/2009. The Frank Bell Scholarship is funded by the Bell Educational Trust, the operators of Bell Bedgebury International School, in memory of their founder. Following his experiences as a prisoner of war, where he set up and ran a secret university for his fellow prisoners, Frank Bell founded the Trust with a vision to promote international understanding through the power of education. Today, the Trust helps over 100,000 students, from more than 120 countries through one of its 41 worldwide teaching centres and e-channels, primarily to learn English and other languages. "The Bell Educational Trust has a long tradition of supporting international students through scholarships and bursaries and this new fund will give one student an unrivalled opportunity to share the unique experience of studying at Bell Bedgebury International School."
