Monitoring progress

Student in science class

At Bell Bedgebury, we recognise that our students' stay with us is part of a wider educational journey.

We understand that our students come to study with us in order to develop and prepare - academically, culturally and socially - for the next stage of their education.

Consequently, we place a great emphasis on ensuring that we fully understand our students' goals and ambitions and that they are making good progress towards achieving them.

Each student has regular meetings with their Academic Tutor, as well a meeting each half term with the Principal or Vice Principal to review progress and ensure that they are on course to achieve their goals.

At the end of each half term, parents receive a full written report containing a comprehensive review from all their child's teachers. In addition, each week they receive a shorter 'e-report' from their child's tutor, allowing them to keep right up to date on the student's progress.

In addition, parents and guardians are, of course, welcome to visit the school at any time for an appointment with the Principal.
