David Morse
Principal of Bell Bedgebury

David is responsible for managing the on-site language and education operation at Bell Bedgebury in Kent, UK. In addition to Bell Bedgebury International School, the site also plays host to:

  • Bell Bedgebury Language Centre – which provides language tuition to students aged 16 and over
  • Language and Activity department - the team which develops and manages our young learner courses

David has over 25 years teaching experience, including 10 years in senior management posts in the Middle East and the UK. In his previous role David founded and developed an international school in the USA. David is a science graduate from Durham University with a PGCE from Bath University.

Sue Harris
Head of Bell Bedgebury International School

Sue is responsible for the management of the school. This involves working with subject teachers to ensure that students are prepared to a high standard so that they can achieve their full academic potential and continue their education at the school or college of their choice.  It also includes working with the pastoral staff who look after the students and ensure that they are safe, healthy and happy. 

Sue has worked as an International Director of a leading UK boarding school and was responsible for the education and welfare of up to 100 international students.  Sue has in depth experience of running summer courses and exam preparation courses  and is a qualified teacher of English as a Foreign Language and has also been an inspector for the British Council.

Lucy Jackson

Lucy is responsible for the school’s administration. She manages the student registration process and oversees all exam adminstartion and entries.

Lucy previously worked as a programme manager for an international work and travel organisation, where she was responsible for arranging visas and providing support services for participants.

Our teachers include both specialist teachers of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and academic subject teachers, although all teachers have appropriate EFL training or qualifications. All our subject teachers have experience teaching in either state or independent schools. Above all, all our teaching staff share a commitment to the highest standards of academic and pastoral care.
